We are rigorous and thorough in the role of clinical supervisors. Our professional goals are to refine your self-view as therapists, to allow you to look at your own histories and the stories that led you here, to provide clinical input and another viewpoint to your cases, to assist you in your honing your skills as professionals in both private practice and other clinical settings, and to ultimately help you develop into the authentic and genuine therapist that you wish to become.
Clinical work, by its nature, generates transference. Countertransference in the clinical setting requires discussion and openness in the safe space between supervisor and therapist. We provide that space for aspiring clinicians in both Maryland and the District of Columbia.
